The hit BBC drama Baptiste has returned for its second series and fans are already as gripped as ever.
The hit drama which stars Tchéky Karyo as Baptiste himself, has a host of amazing British talent in the cast including Ace Bhatti as Nadeem who is Emma Chambers’ (Fiona Shaw) colleague.
Ace, 51, is well known to UK audiences for his roles in Bohemian Rhapsody, Alex Rider and The Stranger but it was in Albert Square where he really made his name.
Yusef first appeared on the show in 2010 when he was introduced as a friend of Afia Masood.
A shady character to his core, Yusef spent his time on the show womanising until it was revealed that he had purposefully set his first wife Zainab Masood on fire after she cheated on him.

Yusuf moved to Walford to work as a GP but to also rekindle his former romance with Zainab from their life in Pakistan together.
But as Zainab, played by Nina Wadia, began to get to know him more, cracks began to appear to her and he wasn’t all that he pretended to be.
Throughout this time, Yusuf manipulated and attacked Zainab pushing her to even abandoning her own son. Eventually, she confided in Masood (Nitin Ganatra) after finding no one else to turn to.
However, upon finding out, Yusuf becomes enraged and sets their family house on fire to kill Zainab. In a surprise twist, Zainab tells him that Afia (his daughter) is stuck inside when she isn’t.
Running inside, he becomes trapped and engulfed in the flames, perishing in the explosion.
A fitting end to a proper villain then and a reminder if one was needed that you should never cross Zainab!
