The modern hotel draws inspiration from the “mythical shorelines” which it looks out over, with nods to sea life and shipwrecks throughout. The hotel chain says it has tried to inject “magic” wherever it can, making it a great spot for the whole family to enjoy.

The compact resort and seaside town offers a long stretch of beachfront, with its iconic promenade, traditional pier and colourful beach huts. It’s been given a 4.5 out of five-star rating by visitors on Tripadvisor and received the prestigious Travellers’ Choice award in 2023.

Prices vary depending on the time of year and availability of rooms, however, Express.co.uk found some extremely purse-friendly rates when booking in advance on the Accor website.
