Since the show has been pre-recorded, she is currently back in the real world and is proving that it wasn’t clever camera angles or editing that made her look so glowing.
Taking to her Instagram today she posted a clip to her stories looking fresh-faced and happy in the back of a car.
The star looked decades younger than her 62 years, wearing a white coat and the bare minimum of makeup.
She also sported unkempt hair and ran a poll for her followers asking: “Here’s a question from a happy scruff. Did I brush my hair this morning?
While she still looked stunning, 68% of her 337,000 followers voted for the “no cos you’re a proper scruff” option.
It appeared that her wild hair wouldn’t be a hindrance to her day however as she was on her way to a personal training session.
Looking stunning in skintight leggings and a long-sleeved zip jacket she posted two pictures and a clip of her walking while carrying a hand weight.
She captioned it: “Love a gym day with @meldeane12” followed by a strong arm emoji.
Her trainer, Mel Deane, is a former rugby union player who has also coached the likes of Niall Horan, Rio Ferdinand and Jamie Dornan, so Carol is in good company.
She also credited her outfit to @stronger clothing and she appeared to be wearing items from their Icon activewear range.
Items in this range start at £39 for a basic sports bra with the most expensive item, Sharp Leggings, which Carol was wearing, coming in at £79.
The caption wasn’t marked as an ad or a sponsored post so it would appear that Carol genuinely likes the items rather than being paid to promote them.
Her I’m A Celebrity campmate Helen Flanagan was clearly impressed, posting a smiling face emoji with hearts for eyes.
Carol has long been a fitness fanatic and released her first fitness DVD Carol Vorderman: Kick Start Detox and Exercise Plan, back in 2004.
Back in October last year she posted about her intention to remain super fit well into old age.
“I’m DETERMINED to stay fit and active and healthy as hell as I’m knocking on 62 years old,” she said.
“Been a gym goer since they started opening for women in the mid 90s…
“I fully intend to be in this form when I’m knocking 80, and going to have a GREAT life between now and then full of laughing and mischief and adventures.”
