New research from Moving to Spain has found the best countries in the world for British expats who want to work remotely.
The survey analysed countries based on their score in happiness ranking, cost of living, peace and healthcare quality.
Britons will need to check with their employer because they decide to move abroad and may need to work freelance.
This year’s leading country for British expats is an “incredible” destination in Scandinavia with high happiness rankings.

Norway was rated the best country for British expats looking to work remotely. The country has a digital nomad visa.
The gorgeous country also has some of Europe’s most breathtaking natural beauty. Lysefjord in Stavanger, is one of the country’s top attractions.

Germany took second place on the list while Hungary took third spot in the rankings and could be a more affordable option for expats.
Spain landed just outside the top three and could be the most attractive option for sun-seeking British expats.
Almost every Scandinavian country made the list with just Sweden landing outside the top 10 rankings.
