Ivanka Trump paid recognition to her late mother Ivana in a social media post honouring some of the most important memories they shared.
The Instagram post on Sunday, made up of various photos, was a wish to mothers around the world and a tribute to Ivana, who died in July of last year.
Ivana, the mother of Donald Trump’s three oldest children, died aged 73 at her home in Manhattan last year after falling down a flight of stairs.
The post was captioned: “On the first Mother’s Day following my mother’s passing, I hold space for the beautiful memories of my mom while cherishing the privilege of being a mother to my three amazing kids: Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.
“Sending so much love to all you superhuman mamas out there! Happy Mother’s Day!”

According to medical examiners, Ivana died of blunt force injuries to her torso after suffering an accidental fall at her home in New York.
Though the cause of death was not specified in medical reports, it is understood Ivana unintentionally fell to the bottom of the stairs in her home.
In 1992, Ivana divorced Mr Trump, to whom she was married for 15 years.
In February, Ivanka published a post honouring her mother’s 74th birthday, where she recalled: “She was the funniest, smartest, and most glamorous woman I know.
“She lived each minute of her life to the absolute fullest. Miss the joy she brought into our lives and the lives of many.”
