Live updates: A40 Oxford Street westbound partially blocked due to road traffic collision near Soho

Traffic police are responding to a road collision on the A40 Oxford Street in central London, reported shortly after 1.15am on Friday (November 26).

Emergency services including Metropolitan Police are in attendance to clear the collision at Berners Street near Soho. The A40 is only partially blocked and has not been closed.

Traffic is moving but very slowly and bus routes are continuing and have not been diverted.

Police are advising motorists to be vigilant on approach to the A40 westbound.

A40 (eastbound) traffic remains unaffected.

Traffic monitoring website Inrix: “A40 Oxford Street Westbound partially blocked due to accident at Berners Street.”
