No one needs to be told that house prices in London are expensive.
In some parts of the capital, buyers can fork out £500,000 for a one-bedroom flat and whether you can afford it or not we all agree that is ridiculous.
But before you chuck away your Oyster card and widen your search net outside of the M25, there are cheaper properties to be found in the capital if you know where to look.
One street in North London has homes that will actually give you change out of £200,000.
The average price of properties selling in Chisley Road, Tottenham, was £199,539 in November 2020, according to Zoopla.

The Zone 3 street features a range of homes, including flats and houses, and is in an ideal location for transport links and schools.
Within a mile of the street, there are 10 primary schools and six secondary schools.
There are also lots of Overground and Tube options nearby.
While the average price of a property on Chisley Road is under £200,000, it is important to note that some sales completed for as much as £542,387.
The price has increased in the last three months with Zoopla stating that since August, properties have risen by 2.13 per cent on the street.

It has also increased by 0.47 per cent in the last year.
This means that if you are shopping for a house on a small budget you may want to check out Chisley Road as soon as possible.
