The officially actress kickstarted Cannes season with a flowly shirt and green pants ensemble. Packed with retro vibes, Deepika completed the OTTD with a messy bun and a matching headband. She made a royal statement by wearing Maharani necklace made from multicoloured gemstones and uncut diamonds.
For her second look, Deepika packed in as much as she could in a saree! Her striped, embellished gold and black saree with a sweetheart-neck blouse was absolutely stunning. Deepika notched up her dramatic look with a ‘60s inspired beehive-updo bun. She accessorized it with a striking matha patti ., shoulder grazing chandelier earrings and a striking graphic black eyeliner.
Deepika Padukone is a part of the eight-member jury at the festival this year. Speaking about her appearance, Deepika had told Reuters, “It’s such a huge honour. It is not something that our country is sort of seen very often. So I think when we are given the opportunity, I think we take it with a lot of humility and a lot of gratitude.”
