What if 2 or more candidates score same marks?
If 2 or more candidates score equal marks/percentile scores, here’s how the inter-se-merit will be determined:
a. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the test, followed by
b. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry in the Test, followed by,
c. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Physics in the Test, followed by,
d. Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test,
e. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology), followed by
f. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry, followed by
g. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics, followed by
h. Candidate older in age, followed by
i. Application number in ascending order.

Passing marks of NEET UG 2022
The cutoff for NEET 2022 is as follows:
40 percentile for applicants from the reserved category,
45 percentile for PH candidates
50 percentile for general category.
Provisional Answer key released
Earlier, the provisional answer key of NEET UG 2022 was released on 31 August after which candidates were allowed to raise objections till 2 September.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) results today i.e. 7 September, NTA officials had told news agency PTI. However, no official statement has come from the NTA on this.
