Nurse assaulted at Glebe medical centre

Police have released CCTV images and are appealing for help after a nurse was assaulted outside a Sydney medical centre.

A search is underway to find a man who allegedly assaulted a nurse at a medical centre in Sydney’s Inner West last month.

NSW Police were called to the Glebe Point Rd business at about 11.45am on August 27.

They were told a female nurse, 37, was outside the Glebe centre when she was allegedly assaulted by an unknown man.

Despite their search of the surrounding area, officers could not find the suspect.

NSW Police have since released CCTV images of a man they believe can help with their investigation.

The man in the pictures is described as being caucasian, aged in his 40s with a thin build, dark hair and a greying beard.

At the time, he was wearing a black cap with a red bandana around his neck, a black T-shirt, dark blue tracksuit pants with a white stripe down the sides, leather fingerless gloves and runners.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they know the identity of the man has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
