NEW DELHI: InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of Indigo, said on Wednesday chief executive officer (CEO) Ronojoy Dutta would resign at the end of September.
Dutta will be replaced by Pieter Elbers, the company said in a regulatory filing.
At a meeting convened by the company’s board of directors, Elbers’ appointment was approved as the whole time director of the company, subject to necessary regulatory and shareholder’s approvals.
His appointment as the CEO is expected to be effective from October 1.
The board of the company also took note of resignation of Ronojoy Dutta as the whole time director and CEO with effect from September 30, the airline said.
