Sharon Stone, 64, portrayal of the iconic femme fatale launched her to international recognition when she starred in erotic thriller Basic Instinct.

In the 1992 classic Sharon’s character, Catherine Tramell, is sat at a police station under interrogation for the murder of a rockstar.

Dressed in a barely-there white high neck dress, Catherine smokes a cigarette and uncrosses her legs to reveal that she isn’t wearing any underwear.

In a similar fashion, when posing for the November cover of Harper’s Bazaar, Sharon sat on a stall, her legs apart, the material of her black dress covering the stool in between her legs.

During the issue, in which Sharon gives an interview, the star pays tribute to the traditions, customs and values that represent us. The actress talks with the film director and screenwriter, Isabel Coixet about power, feminism and empowerment.
