Shirley Ballas, 62, has taken to Instagram in a post where she confessed she accidentally indulged in dog food. The star admitted she found, to her surprise that she actually enjoyed it.
She explained how she mistook her dog’s biscuits for her own selection of nuts.
The Strictly judge sent the post out to her 244,000 Instagram followers.
She wrote in the story caption: “When you’re getting ready and you’ve got some nuts and you had the dog’s biscuit but you just picked it up and crunched the dog’s biscuit instead of the nuts.
“And that – just to show my day.”

Reportedly, she could even get a bit flirtatious – something that Will Mellor has cheerily admitted he reciprocates if it could get him one step closer to the final.
However, she insists that there is no truth in the rumours that she might be getting fired.
Despite a magazine cover suggesting otherwise, she declared the claim an “absolute load of rubbish”.
“Sells papers, I guess! @bbcstrictly,” she groaned in her Instagram Story yesterday.
