A teenage boy is in custody over the death of another teen who was found with a life-threatening wound on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the Buddina area just after 11pm last night.
Paramedics worked frantically to save a 16-year-old boy who tragically died at the scene.
A 17-year-old boy has since been taken into custody and is being questioned by police.
Authorities are urging anyone who noticed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time or who may have CCTV footage of the area to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
Investigations are ongoing.
