The Chase sees all sorts try their hand at beating the best quizzers in the country.
And that’s just as true today (Wednesday, November 18) as any other.
But while many of the contestants dazzle us with their general knowledge – or lack thereof – others stand out for different reasons.

One Londoner hoping to beat the Chaser is Alex and he baffled host Bradley Walsh when he revealed what his he did for a living.
Alex revealed he is a ‘disaster recovery coordinator’.
Heard of it? Nope, we haven’t either.
Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long for an explanation as Alex was first up to answer quick fire round of questions.
Beforehand, Bradley was in a mix of awe and confusion as he asked the South Londoner what his job title actually involved.
“Is it as extreme as it sounds,” the host asked.
Alex replied: “Not as extreme. So, it’s preparing IT systems for natural disasters like floods, fires, cyber security threats.”
So, not as exciting as you might think! But, the more you know.
He went on to rack up £5,000 in the first round.
The Chase continues on ITV every week day from 5pm.
