The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport is expected to be priced at somewhere between Rs 13 lakh – Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tiger 850 Sport doesn’t have a direct rival in India but it will take on the likes of BMW F 750 GS and BMW F 900 XR.
The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport is based on the next-gen Tiger platform and is powered by an 850 Triple engine. The engine manages to offer 85 PS of power and delivers 82 Nm of torque. The Tiger 850 Sport borrows the T-plane crank from the Tiger 900 range.
The engine’s quick responsiveness is complemented by the slip and assist clutch that offers an exceptional riding experience in both long journeys and urban rides. The motorcycles also features the Brembo Stylema braking system for superior braking performance. The performance is further enhanced with the Marzocchi suspension system.
The Tiger 850 Sport comes with features like 5-inch TFT display, Road and Rain riding modes, all-LED lighting, 12V power socket.
The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport comes with a focussed and aggressive adventure styling with a dominant fuel tank design. The motorcycle is offered in 2 distinct colour schemes-graphite and diablo red, and graphite and caspian blue.
