The National Testing Agency has opened the correction window for the UGC NET 2023 on January 19th and will close the same window for the same on January 20, 2023.

The link will remain active till 11.50 pm today. Using this correction window, candidates can make changes in their application form through the official site of the UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

According to the official notice, candidates can make corrections to their application form by paying an additional fee wherever applicable and the payment can be done through Credit/Debit cards, Net banking as well as UPI.

This window of correction is a one-time facility which allows candidates to avoid any issues in the event of a making a mistake while filling in the application form. Candidates are required to do the correction carefully as the option to do so will not be given again.

Recently the NTA also made some modifications in the age criteria as 01.12.2022 instead of 01.02.2023. So candidates who have already applied for December 2022 UGC-NET and applied only for the post of Assistant Professor instead of for the post of both (Assistant Professor and JRF) will also be able to modify their online application during this window. Hence, correction facility is available in ‘apply for, category, Qualification, Pwd, Research & Ex-Serviceman’. For more related details candidates can check the official site of NTA JEE.

Here is how you can make correction in the UGC NET December 2022 application form:
*Visit the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

* Click on the ‘UGC NET December 2022 Application’ link given on home page
* It will redirect you to the application page
* Fill in your required credentials like application number and password to log in
* Make all the changes in your application form
* Click on the submit the final application
* Download the updated application form for future reference

According to an official notice by NTA, “Candidate shall ensure that the information (like, his/her name. mother’s name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, category, PwD status, mobile number, email address, photograph and signature, choice of cities for exam centre, etc) provided by them in their online Application Form are correct and of their own.”

The UGC NET December 2022 exam will beheld between February 21 and March 10.
